I am so happy you are here and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting my blog and being a part of my journey.

I started this blog for several reasons. This first being that this is something that I have always wanted to do, but I was afraid. I feared being exposed on the one hand and on the other I feared that no one would be interested, no one would bother reading my words and that I would feel as though the whole thing was a failure on my part. I recently made the decision to take opportunities to try and do things that scare me and well, here we are….

I also want to inspire and be inspired and truly I cannot think of a better platform for that than blogging and hopefully reaching others who will share their triumphs and trials with me as I share mine with all of you.

Fibromyalgia is not a “sexy” condition and there is not enough awareness regarding this illness, so I also see an opportunity to do my part in trying to raise awareness regarding Fibromyalgia (which I refer to as Fibro for short). My hope is to reach suffers of this invisible disease and remind them that they are not alone while also sharing with those who have never heard of this condition some of the ins and outs of living with chronic illnesses.

Fitness, workouts and excising are all fairly new to me and my diet has always been quite poor, lacking in the necessary amounts of macro and micro nutrients. I am on a path of discovery and I talk a bit about what led me to this path on my very first blog post.
